Copyright Policy and Notice Requirements

See the requirements below for submitting a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) that material on SimpleMapForYou’s Site is infringing.

 

DMCA Notice

To submit your claim of copyright infringement, please email with the below information:

  2. Identification of the work you claim is being infringed upon.

  3. Identification of the material on SimpleMapForYou’s Site that you claim is infringing. Please also send the URL to each item you claim is infringing.

  4. The name of the copyright owner and the owner’s address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material on the Site is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  6. A statement that the information provided in the notice is accurate and under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to make the complaint for the copyright owner.

Counter-Notice

If SimpleMapForYou has removed your material in response to a DMCA notice and you believe this was in error, please email with proof of your identity, your contact information, the material that was removed in error, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
